I am enjoying David Molnar's photography tutorial videos and I learn a lot. He just released one on portraits, and I did not care for the results of his editing. The final image is too bright for my taste. I was wondering if I am alone in this. He is clearly miles (light years ?) ahead of me, but this one puzzled me. What do you think ?

I definitely have to agree with you that the finished photo is way over-exposed and bright! Perhaps when he did the video it looked fine but something happened with the uploaded version that caused it to become overexposed. But then one would have expected that over exposure to also apply to the shots of him talking, which aren't over exposed and look quite normal. I would definitely not want any of my final products to look like the final version of his image as shown on that video.
