Hi folks,
I keep running into an issue with the colour changer tool and I can't seem to solve it.
I generally use it for changing individual colours instead of full shades or gradients, so when I change a colour with the tool, it does it nicely. However, when I go to change another colour right after (with a different colour to the last one) it also alters the colour I changed previously. I can see how this would be handy, but I don't really use it that way and I find myself constantly having to select and deselect then re-select again in order to change colours without affecting the previous one. As you can probably tell it's very cumbersome.
There only seems to be two options of the colour changer tool which are "Tolerance" and "Edge softness", neither of which stop the changing of a previously changed colour when set at 0 (I assumed that tolerance would do it).
I read the manual and it doesn't mention anything of this nature so I'm at a bit of a dead end and would appreciate some help.
Thanks! I'm using PSP X4, Win 7

Make sure to always hit the checkmark on the tool options palette before clicking a second time. The Color Changer is an active effect, once you've clicked, any changes you make to the settings are reflected in real time this includes clicking a second time on the image.

Brilliant, thank you. I must have missed that.
Is there a way to just deactivate the active part of the tool instead of clicking the tick every time? If not the it's not a problem as I'm quite happy with the solution, but just in case?
