Re: Picture Frames and Tubes
They pretty much have the same stuff. But I consolidated all my old stuff. Here's how I did it:
I closed all the PSP's I had. I used Windows Explorer (not IE). I went inside of every folder, selected all and moved them (via ctrl-x) to the main folder (e.g.--C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X9\Corel_01)Then I deleted the now-empty subfolders. I now had a consolidated group of all my brushes, brush tips, etc.
I did the same for PSP 2018, then I copied everything from PSPx9 to PSP 2018. I said "Yes" to overwriting files, and then I had a consolidated group of all my brushes, brush tips, etc. from PSPx9 in PSP 2018.
I found no non-tedious way to consolidate items and nothing in PSP. It was a very boring task: I had several PSPx versions to do that with, but the results give me access to many items without dupes. Since I have a fast computer, Corel's desires to hold down the workload and speed up the program did not affect me. YMMV.

Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.

Re: Picture Frames and Tubes
1.Open PSP X9 in Edit mode and navigate to File > Preferences > File Locations - go down your File type list and click on Picture Tubes.
2. In the Right pane (Picture Tube File folders) you should find two paths :
c:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro X9\Corel_10
This is the set of picture tubes installed with PSP X9 and should you uninstall or reinstall, then any extra ones you place in here as suggested by a previous post will be lost / removed.
The other location is:
C:\Users\*userName*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\19.0\Picture Tubes
as indicated this is the User folder for all created or downloaded Picture Tubes.
It is the contents of this folder that need to be copied to the equivalent folder in PSP 2019.
How do you find that folder?
3. Open PSP 2019 in complete Edit mode and navigate to File > Preferences > File Locations - go down your File type list and click on Picture Tubes.
4. In the right pane Picture Tube Folders again you should find two paths:
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2019\Corel_10
Looks similar to what you found in PSP X9 !
The other location is :
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2019\Picture Tubes
again looks similar to PSP X9 .
So two things you can do
(A) copy the user contents of the PSP X9 Picture Tubes to the User... PSP 2019 folder
(B) Copy the path from the User...PspX9 and put it into the PSP 2019 folder much faster and simpler.
In my case I have in that PSP 2019 Picture tubes folder all these locations
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2019\Corel_10
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2019\Picture Tubes
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\14.0\Picture Tubes
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\18.0\Picture Tubes
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\19.0\Picture Tubes
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\2018\Picture Tubes
So I have links to any imported or created picture tubes in X4, X8, X9, 2018 as well.
You could also just take all those picture tubes and put them in a separate folder eg. MyPictureTubes in your Documents folder and then just link to that by Add new location
C:\Users\*username*\Documents\MyPictureTubes

Re: Picture Frames and Tubes
Many Thanks to both replies. Via your advice I was able to achieve copying all relevant data. Yes - a bit tedious but finally got there. Again many Thanks.
