Beware Corel's PSP timer

When PSP 2019 first came out, I tried it for less than a week, uninstalled it. Then Update1 came out. I thought I would try the updated program, but it said my time had expired!

I had expected that because I promptly uninstalled PSP 2019 that I still had three weeks to go on my trial. No such luck. So the clock starts ticking on the day you first install PSP. No subsequent trials allowed if they exceed the 30 days from first installation.

What this means is that you cannot do what I did: install, inspect, reject (sound like Arlo, eh?) then see if the Update improved anything.

So, if you are thinking of starting a trial, start it after the 1st Update. No Update? Too bad. Corel missed a sale.

Update doesn't install on trial versions, I think. But when update is coming out, number version changes and trial version is the new version (update included), if I remember...

30 days testing are consecutive, since Jasc days... Affinity has 15 calendar days testing only...
