How do you use PSP - for photos or creative graphics?

Title says it all. I use PSP for photos 99-percent of the time.

Both. I enjoy photomanipulations. Like making centaurs, invisible people, etc.

Mostly for photo enhancements. But otherwise, depending on what you mean by "creative graphics", while I don't use it like a paint program I do a fair amount of stuff creating composite images - e.g., creating custom DVD cover and label art as well as other images created by combining various elements into a single image.

Back in the mid-2000's, I used PSP7 to touch up the icons I made in Inkscape. Despite having PSP9, then PSP11, I did touch-up with PSP7. Then I began creating icons by manipulating photographs. Used the latest PSP for that work. Now all I do is photo manipulation. PSPx8, PSPx9 and PSP 2018 do fine with that.

This is a subject near and dear, for Corel lost me for quite a while because its focus on and use of PSP seemed to change to photo manipulation. (I gradually quit using it with X2 on my Win 7 computer.) I returned to the program ( with PSP 2018 on a Win 10 computer) to see if it still had application to the frustrated artist in me. Thanks to the online course mentioned above, I became acquainted with PSP once more, and making images is a near-daily event with me. I do include some photo aspects (e.g., a misted portion of one or more), but my real goal is making a "pretty picture". Attached is a much resized example.

Mostly photo/art. Although I must admit that the majority of my work is done with Photoline I still revert back to PSP for some favourite tools. Along with a number of plugins.
