I downloaded some filters that I want to use but I have no idea where to put them in this version. Previous versions have folders like Frames, Masks, Gradients, Filters, etc. Also, where can we download frames, tubes, filters? O where do we put Filters, Masks, Gradients, Tubes, Frames, etc.
Thanks for any help I can get.

Re: Where to put Filters in PSP 2019 Ultimate
Open PSP 2019 in Edit mode complete .
Click on File > Preferences> File Locations
Scroll down to the thing you are looking for eg Picture Frames
In my case it shows 2 locations
one that has the picture frames that come with the program
C:\ProgramData\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2019\Corel_09
and one that users can Export made up ones to or copy downloaded ones to
C:\Users\*User Name*\Documents\Corel PaintShop Pro\19.0\Picture Frames
Now as for Filters - these are called Plug ins and again you can find them in the same area.

Plugins are found in C:\Program Files\Corel\Corel PaintShop Pro 2018 (64-bit)\PlugIns.
But following File > Preferences> File Locations that hartpaul pointed out, you can designate a plugins (aka "filters") folder, and put them there.

Trying to follow directions to locate more frames but my Edit Mode/Preferences does not have a "File Locations" choice. Now what?

You need to be in the complete workspace to set up File Locations. A new installation of PSP defaults to the Essentials workspace. You can switch to Complete by going to File -> Workspace - > Complete.AnnieNY9 wrote:Trying to follow directions to locate more frames but my Edit Mode/Preferences does not have a "File Locations" choice. PSPX9 | PSP2020 | PSP2021| PSP2022 | PSP2023 & PhotoMirage installed; PSPX | PSPX2 thru PSP2019 owned but not installed

So true! Don't you wish Corel warned you that many things are missing?Kathy_9 wrote:You need to be in the complete workspace to set up File Locations. Re: Where to put Filters in PSP 2019 Ultimate
Well, I now have Preferences but my frames are still the original 10 that came with this upgrade. Where do I get all the ones I had in PSP 2018? There were lots more there.

Re: Where to put Filters in PSP 2019 Ultimate
I believe that Corel should change their default setting to have PSP open in Edit mode complete . We have so many that assume that when it opens in the Essentials mode that that is all the program is.
So people coming from Photoshop get lost and think it is a really weak program. People coming from earlier versions also think it has lost a lot of its power and also feel lost. And beginners get lost when instructions on this forum assume they are in Edit mode complete.
Open in Edit mode Complete and then have a message that says something like "If this is too difficult then you can go to Essentials..."and give directions for that and also how to return to Complete mode, and perhaps label the tab at the top Edit - Essentials.
I note also that Corel has added the Ultimate to the title up the top further reinforcing that PSP Ultimate is different from just PSP instead of just the extras. So people think that because they have Ultimate at teh top then they have a better version than the standard?
Has anybody installed the standard version of PSP and has that dropped the Ultimate from the Title ?
