I have PSP 7.
Is there a program or plugin to do what I have shown below. That is
a- take some text
b- choose a shape
c- fit text to shape and d- just leave the shaped text.
I made this all by hand in Animation Shop and it took ages and I want something where you can just 'click' and its done.

Do you also have a later version of PSP? I have Jasc PSP 8 and was able to get a quick simulation before the program closed.
1. Draw the text
2. Convert the text to a raster layer
3. Choose a Warp brush (it was associated with the Paint Brush in Jasc PSP8) and make the size large enough to enclose all the text.
Choose the Expand option and place the cursor in the centre of the text and press the mouse button and release when to your liking. You can also try the Contract option as well.
My results :

Thanks for the reply hartpaul. I can do what you suggested in PSP7
but I want to use a preset shape and fit text to that.

Fitting text to a shape is a much later feature introduced in about X8 . It is called Text Wrapping.
https://learn.corel.com/tutorials/text- ... op-pro-x8/

This however maintains the text height and width but fits it to the shape where possible.
To make individual letters distort to fit inside the shape as you have shown would require warping or distorting individual letters. So not a quick easy operation.
But I could be wrong and someone else may come up with a fancy script that will do that.

Or a link
Just found this which may be what you mean:

arbee -- can you please confirm the version of PSP is 7 and not X7? PSP 7 of course comes quite a few years ago now before Corel took PSP over from JASC. X7 is meant to be version 17 and is much more recent.

Now you have my interest up. I love PSP7. Having used the JASC PSP's before and since, I thought it struck the best balance for years. I'm using PSP 2018 now, and I like it.

So, does anyone know how to fit a bit of text (like "Ford") in a shape (like OP's oval) in a modern PSP?
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.
