Re: corel paintshop pro 2018 problems
Sound was very poor - had to turn computer and video columes up to 100% and could just hear the word "lag" which if you missed it meant that you missed the point of the video.
So you find the paint brush is very slow in operating and has a long lag time.
Now the image was also very blurry so I could not read the size of the image you were working with nor the size of the brush or any other readings you were using.
You could try for a start resetting the tool to its default - click the down arrow beside Presets and click the Reset to Default button on its right.
If that fails then try deleting the cache
File > Preferences > Reset Preferences and tick the Delete all cache files and then OK
Close the program and then reopen and see if that makes any difference.
Lastly Reset the program to its default - Save your workspace first File > Workspace > Save
Close the program and then hold the Shift key down as you restart the program and this will allow you to reset all the program to its default.
BTW do you only get the lag with the paintbrush tool ? How do the other brushes go - Clone brush, Airbrush, lighten / darken brush series, warp brush, Oil brush.
