End on freeze frame

Post by thross »

Is there a way for me to make a video end with the last frame of the clip frozen so that it continues to show until the video is closed?
Thank you.

Hi
Yes --- use Freeze Frame
Place the curser on the last frame of your clip, right click the clip for Freeze Frame
Will create an image of the last frame saved to the working folder, image is added to the timeline and library.

I assume that is what you wish to do?

Not exactly ... I'd like the image of the last frame to stay visible on the screen until I close the clip. Is there a way to do that? Or do I just need to put a long time limit on the freeze frame?

Yes when you put that image on the end of your video it is just like any other image - make it as long as you like - first select it and then grab the right end with your cursor and move right - - - OR - right click on it and choose 'Change Photo duration' then change the numbers to whatever you want
