I have a 4K clip with an animal moving across the landscape. I'd like to edit it to achieve a steady 1080p shot with the animal kept at the centre (or in a fixed position relative to the frame).
The new Pan and Zoom in VS 2018 allows me to pan 'on the fly' with a 1080p subset, but however I try it it comes out jerky. Object tracking allows me to highlight the animal and track it, but not to pan the shot based on that track.
Am I missing something? Suggestions welcome please.
