VS 2018 freezes randomly
Video Studio 2018 freezes every time I try to save to DVD. Support has worked with me, controlled my computer and the problem is still there. Been 3 weeks trying to get a resolve. Can I go back and install a previous version and just chalk up the money lost on the upgrade. From what I am reading VS10 has many issues.

Re: VS 2018 freezes randomly
Yes, you can reinstall a previous version if you still have the installation files and serial number. In fact, your situation is why some of us here don't uninstall previous versions but leave them in case something doesn't work properly in a later version we have also installed. That, of course, assumes your computer has plenty of hard disk space -- but most do these days as hard disks are rather cheap.

Re: VS 2018 freezes randomly
I have done several DVDs using VS 2018 without any problems. Burning DVDs is one of the basic functions and should give no problems. But you have given no information about your project and so it is impossible to offer any help.sassywvmom wrote:Video Studio 2018 freezes every time I try to save to DVD.
