Perfectly Clear - Access Violation

It would be helpful to others if you could clarify how they have "sorted" the plug-in. Did they supply you with a new version? Was it Corel or Athentec who supplied it? And did they indicate that this new version was going to be made available -- and how -- to everyone?

I am unsure if I can post the file... Was supplied by Corel... The size is different between what was originally installed when I purchased last month @ plugin, so I can only assume it has been updated to address the force close issue...I would assume it will be available to everyone as I am no one special...lol

This was message I got...And agent who helped.. It was escalated to L2 support and new plug-in download has not force closed the app...

Hi I have also been told to uninstall Perfectly clear and reinstall from a link given in the message. I have tried that and it still stops after three uses and requires the program to be restarted. I am currently waiting for a remote session to see it they can fix it. I have even uninstalled the whole shooting match with the clean tool without success. hope it can be fixed soon,

Subject to the continuing problem that ellington is facing, I've been advised by the head of Corel's PSP team that the new version of Perfectly Clear with the problem fixed, has been placed on the Corel servers. Users who purchased the Ultimate version of PSP should uninstall their current version of Perfectly Clear, and use the same link that should be in their purchase confirmation email to download and install the new version.

Needless to say, it would be useful if people who do this could report here whether the fix works or not...

I just tried to use the download link from my purchase email and it says that the download link is no longer valid. Right on the email it says: "Your download link is valid until 9/2/2018.
Note: The date specified for this download link does not affect the validity of your license."

I also checked in my account/products and there is no download link there either, matter of fact I don't see "Perfectly Clear" in my registered products list, just the PsP 2019 Ultimate

Any ideas on how I might proceed to get the new version? I bought PsP 2019 in Aug 2018.

Doubt it would help. With my PSP 2018 Ultimate, I got Perfectly Clear SE 3.0, not Perfectly Clear Complete 3, which shows up on my installation as costing $99US.

When I tried to invoke PC SE 3.0 yesterday I got an "Access violation" error as I often do. Since I keep copies of my installation software on my hard drive, it was no trouble to close PSP 2018, to run the PC SE 3.0 again and reopen PSP 2018. Voila! It is annoying to use this workaround but hardly catastrophic.

Quite frankly, I am afraid to restore all my purchases, since I have none. PC SE 3 is not the same as PC Complete 3. I suspect the PC 3.5 that came with PSP 2019 Ultimate differs from what is on the Welcome panel. In any case, the OP's original complain spoke of the plugin working for a few images then closing. Sounds like a Perfectly Clear problem.

That shows up as costing 99.00, I've looked all through that list for the one that comes with PsP2019 Ultimate, it's not listed.

Hi

Had my remote session with Tech support. He took over my computer, uninstalled Perfectly Clear then downloaded a copy of Perfectly Clear from I know not where, installed it then asked me to try my photos. I used it on at least 15 photos without the dreaded access violation. He then finished the session and closed the post as solved. It is still working and I have not had the same problem again. I am unable to say where the new download came from and I haven’t found it again. Sorry not to be of any further information.

Ref my entry above, the version of perfectly clear I am running which works is 3.5 SE version 3.5.7.0
