Perhaps if you were to describe exactly what you are doing, someone might be able to understand your problem. What sources, what source properties, what output properties, to what are you exporting?
There is very little useful information in your post.
I have no idea what you are describing in this statement: "very tiny .mp4 file, a 869 Mo .a file, and a 8.27 Go .v file..."

Re: crashed at 99%, file .a + file .v
The 869 MB file is pretty obviously meant to be some sort of audio file (.a for audio); and the 8.27 GB file some sort of video file (.v for video). But can you confirm that that is all that appears as the extensions on those two files (i.e. .a and .v). But what were you originally trying to produce from them -- and mp4 video or something else? And have you tried playing either of those files in a player like the freeware VLC Player which will play almost anything? Or have you tried changing the extensions to something else (e.g. change .a to .aac and .v to .mov) to see whether the renamed files will play.
As for the very small mp4 file, how big exactly is it, and does it play video?

Re: crashed at 99%, file .a + file .v
I've experienced this numerous times when trying to render MP4 videos using VS2018. Are you using VS2018?PsychatoR wrote:it result with a crash at 99%. im stuck with a very tiny .mp4 file, a 869 Mo .a file, and a 8.27 Go .v file....
Did VS crash silently or was there an error message? I've frequently experienced VS2018 crashing w/o any error message. In any event, I've not found a way to combine the orphaned *.a and *.v files into an MP4 file and I think that even if you could, there'd be something missing.
The best way that I've found to avoid the crashing is to render using VS10 as rendering MP4 with VS2018 is too hit and miss.

Re: crashed at 99%, file .a + file .v
The A and V files are temporary files created during rendering to mpeg4, on completion they are removed / deleted leaving the new rendered Mp4 file.
The name “test a v files_1009_13-10-43.v” indicates the name and date of the render.
1009 being October 9th + the time.
Failure of the render does appear to leave those files behind.
So those files are normal the problem being the crash at 99%
The screen shot being taken part way through a render.

Not sure what is being said but orphaned *.a and *.v files are left behind whenever VS2018 crashes at any stage of rendering a MP4 file. Unfortunately VS2018 crashes too frequently.lata wrote:So those files are normal the problem being the crash at 99%
