When I tried to add an image to video track, I couldn't becouse of error below;
"The file format is unknown, that the computer is running out of memory, or that the file is copyright protected."
The file format is PNG, and the file size is 176 KB.
(In this project I could other 24 image files before.)
Memory is available 4 GB in 8 GB.
Is there an upper limit on the file size that can be taken in?
Japanese support desk said they could add this file ( I sent ) normally.
Does anyone have any solution / have a fix for this error ?
Regards

Hi
and welcome to the forums
not a lot we can do unless you make the image available to test, are you able to do that.
You should be able to upload the image as an attachment

Hello, lata. Thank you for your reply.
I attached the image in question.
(But I and Japanese support desk are guessing it's not due to image file...)
I would appreciate it very much if you could point out anything to me.
Thanks.

Hi
Sorry but I do not have any other suggestions, it could be the program, your environment or the actual image
Without having access to the image makes it impossible to replicate your issue.
Please upload the image to a sharing site, google drive, one drive , drop box etc
That way we will get the original image and not resized when attaching images to the forum.

Re: I can't add specific PNG file into project
As Trevor/lata said above, having a resized version of the specific PNG is no use to us. He suggested you upload the original to a site like Dropbox which allows large files to be uploaded. Then we can download the original file to see what happens when we try loading it in VS.
For what it is worth, that resized version of the photo inserted with no problems in the VS 2018 timeline. But we need access to the original before we can say what might be the problem.

Hi
When you said you were using a Png image I had thought of the image using a transparent background.
If you saved the image as a jpeg or BMP then it would display the same and I assume add to Video Studio without problems.
I would also advise that your image uses the same resolution as your video project to retain the maximum quality.

Re: I can't add specific PNG file into project
Hello
Thanks for your reply, lata and Ken!
We have solved the problem.
The image file in problem was put in a folder including ' '(space) in its name.
I modified folder name then I could add this file into VSP project normally.
Though I don't understand why other files in the folder has no problem,
I'll be able to continue to edit my video!
I appreciate your kind and patiant support.
