I do not know if anyone else has this issue, but would it be easier to see the name of furum’s if they were made more distinct from the advertising above them?

Re: Forum Title
First off, I should point out that we on the Site Admin and Moderator side, have no say in the layout of the Board. Corel understandably enough look after that, and place the advertising banners where they want.
That being said, I am not really sure where your problem lies. The advertising banner is prominent, yes, but over the years I guess I have just become used to having something colorful there, and don't really see it any more. My eyes go either to the top, under the Big COREL, and see Board Index < Popular Products < VideoStudio, or else go automatically below the advertising banner and see the bigger 'VideoStudio'.
But the main Board Index page simply lists all the forums, and once you have chosen one and entered that forum, you effectively stay in the forum until you go back to the Board Index and choose another forum.
In other words, once you are in a forum, why do you need something bigger or differently placed to tell you you are in that forum?
