vs2018 rendering issue

Post by vtsfic »

Please help me correct the issue below... I am working on a slideshow with music and trying to render it out to a MP4 file for uploading to Youtube. But during the rendering process, it gives me an error

Microsoft Visual C++Runtime Library
Assertion Failed!
Program:.. mfiles/Corel/CorelVideoStudio
2018/UpScaling.dll
File: Upscale.cpp
Line: 593
Expression: Succeeded (hr)

For information on how your program can cause assertation failure, see the documentation on C++ Asserts
(Press Retry to Debug the application- JIT must be enabled)
****

I got the same error when trying to create a WMV file.
I just installed Videostudio 2018 on my HP laptop two weeks ago. This is my first time trying to render out a video with it.

Just want to add I read somewhere that an error like this can be caused by gaps or space between the video or photo clips on the track. That seemed to be what caused the issue because once I relaid the photo clips onto another track, making sure they were against one another, the video rendered perfectly.
