I have drawn a blank ellipse (white) on a photo and I want to put a logo (that is a jpeg) into the blank ellipse. Is this possible if so how?
I am pretty inexperienced with PaintShop Pro X8 so any help or advice would be very much appreciated.

Place your logo on a layer above the ellipse.
Here, a square logo on white background :
Go to the layer Properties (right-cick on the layer in the Layers palette).
Set the blend mode to 246 :
