pictopainting new styles

Post by gluepack »

Out of interest, does anyone know if there are other styles available for the pictopainting plug-in?

I don't think so.
It doesn't seem to be a plugin that was aquired like the KPT-plugin.
Maybe with the next PSP version?

All that really tells us is they used Github in their development. Either as their own development platform, or it's simply where some of their libraries came from.

I mean the app is built using electron. https://github.com/electron
It's also made with node, python, and tensorflow among others.

But, if Corel is the main developer of this software and isn't just using a bunch of open source libraries, then it's highly possible they could come out with new presets of their own. But at the same time the nnart programs aren't copyrighted or digitally signed like Pic-to-painting.exe is. So, hard to say.

I think you are right.

Searching for more information about the sources, I found something "interesting" in Help / About / Legal info : got to the bottom and you will see some code. Should not be there. Bug, I think.

So, I guess it's unlikely that there are any 3rd party additions and we have to wait for Corel to announce any new styles then.
Thanks for responding.
