The soundtrack to the movie Nixon seems kind of soft and I have to turn my TV up way louder with this movie than any other movie I've watched. I was thinking of buying Corel VideoStudio and loading the MKV file of the movie and then simply amplifying the soundtrack. Now that is easy enough. But I would need to render the new file into a Blu-ray Folder Structure so I can burn it to a blank Blu-ray disc.
I am aware of this plugin that you can buy from Corel that I guess allows you to do this.
But what I'm worried about is the quality of the resulting file.
I've noticed before with rendering modified movies is the resulting file is not as good from a sharpness standpoint.
Can anyone give me any feedback on this? Has anyone used this plugin with good success?

Why not get a legal copy of the Movie and then you don't have to rerender the movie

Oh my God...What makes you think I don't have a legal copy? I do. The soundtrack is softer than it should be hence my question.
