Hi,
Could someone please tell me how to manually adjust the volume of clips in my project? By that I mean going up or down for volume in a given clip. I
spent an hour trying to read all the help topics, but no luck.
In the program I had previously to VSP, when you wanted to manually adjust the sound, you hit a command and a line would go through the entire video of the project. You then adjusted the volume of the entire project in as many places as you wanted in a given clip (even as it played merrily along the entire project--no need to select clips) by using the cursor to push the volume line up or down.Could someone kindly give me the precise steps you take in order to do the equivalent in VSP? They don't tell you in the manual or the help thing. I spent a frustrating half hour trying to find the "music and voice tab" which is not given a title name when you pass over every button in the program, but which I assume is the thing in options with an up and down tab.
Thank you,
Al Marotta

Re: Manually adjusting clip volume
Hi Al -
Pretty simple, perhaps a bit too simple as I generally think things should be more difficult. Only one small do-this-first to make the task even easier.
Easier to watch instead of explain in the formum. I'll put together a short LSC (Live Screen Capture) and upload it later today.

Click on the "Sound Mixer" icon (see image) -- to get the view shown -- then either adjust the slider or manually add and move nodes

Re: Manually adjusting clip volume
Here is the link to my LSC - just download to watch.

I load my clips, expand the height of the track, click to view audio, then click-drag to make level adjustments. Too easy.
