The Corel one is to show the technique doesn't mean you have to make a mini studio yourself just follow the instructions while making a full size one although it wouldn't do any harm to try out the technique just using a corner of your kitchen table would let you test it and see the possible pitfalls
I really think you need to experiment a bit for yourself you learn so much more that way nothing lost just a little time and it will save disappointment when you try the real thing

Well, I made my first video using green screen/chroma key and I think it was quite successful. Here's a very short side by side comparison video so you can see the exact same shot but with the green screen and the changed background together. I didn't have long to prepare but it's turned out OK. As an aside, the best thing I did was uninstalling VS 2018 and reverting to VS X10. It made the whole process so much easier.
