Hi,
this is not first time, when I go back to my project and what I see? There is audio out of sync, or clips are cutted in different way. Yesterday I was working on 4 cameras project. I made 20 minutes, and now I have to start from the beginning...
Did someone has the same problem?
I suppose it may have a relationship with mpg files, beacuse it happens generally when I use this type of files from DV cameras.
Best...

Hi
What files are you adding to MCE, video yes, are you using a separate audio file.?
Are all video files using the same frame rate?
Can you explain what options you chose in MCE for the audio source, it defaults to Camera 1, I think
If you wish for each camera to use its audio then choose “auto”
When you return to the editor timelines the MCE VSP is in the library
We drag that to the timeline, if there is a separate audio clip?
If you edit the timelines could cause the audio to go out of sync, although the program does warn us.
If you double click the VSP in the library, that it will open the MCE, are you saying the audio is out of sync here?

Re: VS 10 doesn't saves projects correctly
Thanks for your attention.
First of all: I didn't use MCE. I only added 3 new overlayers and edit this way.
I suppose I was wrong about DV files. Now I think the problem is when I add wave files to my project.
I like to denoise wave files in AUDACITY and add them to Corel. I noticed that in projects where I used this type of files, there are problems with synchronize and cut points.
Now I try to test it and tell you about my conlusions.

Hi
Sorry for the confusion but when you said you working on a 4 Camera project I assumed you would be using MCE?
Not sure about audio files, but I think if you create a new file using audacity and the frequency is different to original, say 44.1Hz instead of 48.0Hz then you may have audio sync issues with the new file.
After editing in audacity you should retain the original Hz
I am sure others more knowledgeable in editing audio may comment.

Re: VS 10 doesn't saves projects correctly
If you use audacity to remove something - eg, a breathy pop - in an audio file that's in a vsp, and then save it, the new file will have the same name but generally it's not as long as the original and you'll get an error in VS because the new file is NOT the same as the older one of the same name.
Using audacity to edit a .wav file like this, firstly you would have to remove the older one from your project, edit it as needed and then re-import the edited file. Because it's a new file, VS has no issues. Tedious, but it works.

Re: VS 10 doesn't saves projects correctly
Hi again,
I checked this case with different projects and here is my conclusion.
No matter if I use audacity or not, when I add wave files to my projects they are all crashed. When I have only mp3 in project there is no problem, but when I add wave file, save it, close VS and open again, there is problem with cutting. Since I started to change wav on mp3, the problem disappeared.
Best from Poland.
