Importing (GoPro) H.265 Videos Locks Up VS Ultimate 2018

Here is an 5 sec original GoPro 7 File (4K, 59.94 fps, H.265)

Your GoPro clips locks up VS2018 whilst VS2019 imports it although there is only sound but no video (HEVC is installed). Suggest that you convert your GoPro clips to a format that VS2018 can handle.

Yes purchased from microsoft.
So what is currently happening is I will proxy the track and add it to the timeline. About five minutes into editing VS freezes and disappears. When I restart the program it asks if I want to reload the last project. It will have my edits but it shouldn't be doing this obviously.

VS works fine with all other files just the H.265 cause these failures.
