Can I re-install VS x9 if I purchased it online?

I want to re-install VS x9 because it has become badly unstable. First of all today it took 10 minutes to start, then once it started, now I can't start a new project. Some things are working and some aren't. What would be the best way to fix this problem?

Well, one would assume that when you downloaded VS9 you saved the installation files somewhere on your hard drive or to DVD/USB or portable hard drive and that you still have your confirmation of order email detailing your license key, although you can obtain that from your account at Corel. Your account may still allow you to download your purchased VSX9 (not sure how many older versions can be downloaded)
If not, contact support and ask if they can provide you with a link to download VSX9

Video Studio uses a web installer file to download and install the program, the file is 10.928Kb
Called “VideoStudioX9_Installer.exe” although is not unknown to have other names just to confuse us. (VideoStudio.exe)
Each program has its own version of this file so you need you locate your Installer file for X9
Then you can download the program again saving those files in a safe place on your pc.
Then if you need to install you have the right files without downloading again.

Updating by installing the Service Packs
This will be done automatically, you can use the menu Help – Check for updates

The latest service pack was SP5, I am not sure if SP4 and SP5 automatically installed so you may have to do that.
