I noticed in the templates accessible from "New image from Template" that various layers within a mask layer have been re-labelled with instructions.
I have tried unsuccessfully to replicate this with my own templates which I save to a specific folder.
When saving my .pspimage , I get this message:
"Because of the limitations of the specified file format (and
possibly the save options youve selected), group layer
settings will be lost. Would you like to continue?"
Subsequently when I reopen my image the layer re-labelling has reverted to a default setting.
Is there a way of getting around this? -or are the template .pspimages of a special type.

Re: Templates and mask layers
When saving as a PSPImage click on the "Options" button at the bottom of the save dialog. What is the compatibility set to?
