Importing Quicktracks

Post by Kiwi Bob »

I have VS9 and Pinnacle Studio 8. Both were bundled with Smartsound Quicktracks. VS9 has the 'Full Spectrum' selection and Studio8 has the 'Studio' selection. Many of the track titles are the same.

But if I can get VS9 to import the 'Studio' collection then this will give me a further 11 unique tracks to use in VS9. Unfortunatly VS9 does not recognise the 'oppositions' quicktracks - perhaps the BLK, SDI and SDX files have been tweeked so other brands can not access them.

Has anyone got an easy way to overcome this or do things have to be installed in a special order as I would have thought that these third party tracks would be available to other Smartsound applications.

I can't guarrantee that this will work, but this is what I would do:

1. Use the "Check for Update" feature in the "Internet" tab to make sure you have the latest version.

2. Have SmartSound search your hard drives for music libraries.
