After quite a bit of work the keyword manager reverted back to the default settings. I was able to recreate it but do not want to do this again.
Where is the Keyword Manager data stored? I'd like to make a backup of the data so if this happens again I can reload the file.

Never mind, I finally found the keywords.xml and keywordSets.xml.
For Win10 they are in the Settings folder, wherever you located that, in the 'locale\en' sub-folder.
i have saved them just in case.
