LeviFiction wrote:That is one way to handle it yes. You don't have to delete it just copy the tensorflow folder into the lib folder. It's okay if the tensorflow-old folder is still there. Because nothing is looking for a library called tensorflow-old. It's looking for tensorflow. That's the important thing.
But, I don't like to keep OLD unless I was going back to it. I would archive it off I thought there was a need. So, I would delete "...old". Just me. Don't mean to confuse you. I like the BIG DELETE KEY but need to be sure before pressing it.

In other words if RCPhotos pastes the content of the zip file (not the zip file itself) to the proper place, and Pic2Painting now works, then, but only then, he might think about deleting the _OLD file...?

It is the safest option usually. But it's not a big deal either way. I always default to the safe option. But whether or not they keep the old irrelevant for everything except keeping hard drive space down. Pic-to-painting can always be reinstalled to get the old version of the library back.

Update this Tuesday morning.
I added the 1.5 tensorflow zip file as a whole folder into the lib, (don't know how to paste the 'content' of the zip file) tried it, no go. Then deleted the tensorflow-old file, no go. Then tried moving slider to far left after starting the action, no go.

I'm assuming it's that I wasn't able to paste just the 'content of the TF file

As LeviFiction mentioned: What you do is extract a copy of the folder that is inside the zip archive, NOT to place the entire .zip file on top of the lib subfolder.

Simply stated, double click on the TensorFlow zip file. You will see a folder in the .zip. Left Mouse on the folder then while HOLDING DOWN THE LEFT MOUSE BUTTON, drag that folder out of the zip archive (it is just taking a copy of it) then carefully move to be on top of the lib subfolder (C:\Program Files\Pic-To-Painting\resources\app\app\nnart\lib\) then RELEASE the LEFT MOUSE BUTTON to drop the tensorflow folder under the lib folder. I assume there is no remnant of any other actions from prior attempts. As offered earlier, I'd gladly compare your folder structure with mine. Lets first learn of after you've tried again if PicToPainting works for you.

Good Luck,
Ira

So I'll try this tomorrow morning, but wanted to let you know I got your message. But just to be clear, when you say, "You will see a folder in the .zip. Left Mouse on the folder........" uhmmm, what's the name of the folder?

Tensorflow answers your questions.

You may read below to understand a bit more but no need if you follow directions. ALSO, I have not viewed if you have the 1.7 or any other tensorflow folder, by name still there. Can't have same name still there or you will have another reason why it won't work. I recall that LeviFiction recommended that you name the old tensorflow something else. That is fine. I generally add a dash "-" like 'tensorflow-' when I want to hang on to a file or folder for a short while before deleting it.

Realize the TensorFlow folder has loads for other folders and files but we don't care. You are dragging a copy of Tensorflow and everything inside is not visible at that time but will be after you release the left mouse button atop the lib subfolder.

Please see above of my screenshots from me; by RCPhotos » Fri Apr 03, 2020 7:09 am and in the one of the Tensorflow.zip

I copied the entire TF15.zip folder into my lib folder and named it 'Tensorflow dated 04/07/2020 and I am positive this is the file https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b4yV3r ... PijkB/view

Size: 170 MB (179,174,748 bytes)
Contains: 5,256 Files, 1,168 Folders

I think I have done exactly as you have directed, with the exception of;

3) Download the tensorflow library from this Google Drive link - https://drive.google.com/file/d/1b4yV3r ... PijkB/view
This will download the Zip folder, when it's finished downloading open the file and you'll see a folder named "tensorflow" inside.

I do not see a folder inside the zip folder that's called 'tensorflow' unless you are referring to the tensorflow file within the "include" 6 items folder. Is that what I should have copied and pasted into the lib folder? That one only?

RC,

You are correct - Tensorflow.zip does not have a TensorFlow folder. It has everything that belongs UNDER (inside) the existing tensorflow folder that you should have emptied. C:\Program Files\Pic-To-Painting\resources\app\app\nnart\lib\tensorflow\ the tensorflow folder. You do that by selecting EVERYTHING that is INSIDE Tensorflow.zip and then as I stated, drag it out and release the mouse button when you are on top of the Tensorflow folder.

I'd be happy to speak with you on the phone NOW or when you get to read this. To do this, send me a Private message with your telephone, not here. A PM is just that, I would be the only one to see it. We can put this to bed.

You don't necessarily have to drag files from the tensorflow zip fileto the existing Tensorflow folder. The alternative, once you have selected all of those files, it to right click on one of the highlighted selected files, select Copy from the context menu that opens, then go to the Tensorflow folder and right click on that and select Paste from the context menu that opens. I mention this because, depending on how a person's monitor and Explorer window is set up it's possible that both the zip file and the Tensorflow folder might not be readily visible at the same time for the drag/drop operation. Not everyone uses drag and drop because of this and so sometimes the copy/paste method is easier. It might be so for this person who doesn't seem to be very well versed in manipulating files.

What I do, in this case, is to open a second instance of Windows Explorer (shift key down and click on the Explorer's thumbnail in the Taskbar) and place them side by side.

So I spent a little time with Ira using UltraViewer remote and he verified that I do indeed have Tensorflow 1.5 in my lib. Also wantd to add that my system is capable: Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 950 @ 3.07GHz, 3068 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s) though it is 10 years old it does seem to perform well.

Still the tensorflow only stuns me with a hypnotizing spinning wheel while attempting to use.
I'd be happy to allow remote help LeviFiction if you have the time, perhaps as early as tomorrow morning. PST I'm usually alert by 9am, up earlier but still hazy, lol if that works for you.

Is there anything I can provide prior to a look from you?

To LeviFiction and to Iraisok,
Sunday morning, 04712/2020
I finally got it working, Pic-to-Painting, that is within PSP. Hallelujah. I did nothing more than Ira did while helping me remotely, with the exception of deleting an older version that I had previously downloaded and installed from 04/014/2020. It was in my temp folder. I struggled to download the other tensorflow file within lib folder as I wasn't allowed to nor could I drag it into the trash basket. but once I deleted the old file from temp I was able then to go back to tensorflow15 in lib and delete the second one. Restarted pc, PSP is now effectivley using the Pic-to-Painting and saving it as a Layer.

Thanks for all the support guys as I wouldn't have been able to accomplish this without it. And I wasn't going to give up.

Thanks to the excellent instructions "by LeviFiction Thu Apr 02, 2020 10:52 pm," I had no problem downloading & installing PicToPainting....

BUT, as I am running PTP on a laptop, screen res. 1600x900, I was unable to view the Save & Close button.....

I tried all the tab & enter suggestions, but nothing worked....then I happened to notice that a scroll bar had appeared on the right & ta da!!, there it was, hiding below the sample choices.... ....makes life a lot easier.... :D ....
