Illegal copy -NOT!

Post by Screwball »

I lost my VS x9 due to a drive crash. I re-installed it via Corel and added my reg Number, but now every time I open and close the programme I get this warning? How can I remove it?

Normally, you would need to go to Corel and explain the situation. Attaching an image from your account at Corel.com, showing your list of registered products and highlighting X9 and its serial number, would be useful.

Could you give a little more detail here please as to exactly what you did? Can we assume, for instance, that you kept your original download of the VS installer on an external hard drive which was not affected by your drive crash and you used that? If not, then how did you access the X9 installer?

I just went to the Corel website and down loaded it from there. It didn't 'ask' for the registration number it came up automaticly

Hi Screwball
When you downloaded the web installer from Corel that would have been the latest version for 2018.
Something strange going on why it accepted the X9 serial number?

Please search your pc for this file…..
VideoStudioX9_Installer.exe

It may be on your desktop in a folder called….
VideoStudioX9

If you can find the file you will first have to uninstall the program
Re-install using the X9 web installer version.
