Well that's 3 computers which didn't have the sort of problem that Johnnyscience had. No doubt Trevor will test the video later. But it seems that the problem is at Johnny's end rather than strictly with VS -- perhaps VS on his specific computer architecture...?

Nothing spacial here also. the file play well off an old barracuda HDD were it was download to .
in VS X9 I add 6 titles , render in ~5min to my SSD and sure enough plays and look just as well.

Re: Thought I was doing ok but final video is trash
Hi guys
No problems….
Video shows message when adding to timeline as:-
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 59.94 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 34762 Kbps
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 256 Kbps
Played ok on timelines without using Smart Proxy
Rendered the file Same as Project, cpu at 85 % average.
seems a little slow to render but will check that out? could be my pc?
Some Mpeg4 afaik may need Quicktime codec, just wondering if installing the Codec will improve things.
At a loss to think what could be the problem for Johnny?

Well it also renders perfectly in VS2018 as follows:johnnyscience wrote:I re-created this video with Filmora and it came out perfect, the quality of the original file is fine.
NTSC double (60 fps)
MPEG-4 Files
24 bits, 1920 x 1080, 59.94 fps
Frame-based
H.264 High Profile Video: 34762 Kbps
48000 Hz, 16 Bit, Stereo
MPEG AAC Audio: 256 Kbps
These specs exactly match those of the source provided. Hence, the "problem" is at johnnyscience's end.
