I want to create a new, custom item (named Plugins - Scripts) to the Effects dropdown. I did it in PSP2018 (likely with someone's help) and want to do it with 2019, which I'm going to test for stability. I want to create the item under the Plugins item, and I want to make a flyout for the new item because it will have several sub-items holding my bound scripts that I use to open various standalone programs as plugins. The Customize dialogue doesn't have any intuitive (for me at least) option to choose for doing this. So it's not a right-click/context menu I'm trying to edit, but the dropdown menu. I seem to recall that the method is not difficult once I can find the right place to start, but I can never remember how to start!

Forgot how to add new item to menu dropdown
I've done this before and yet can never figure out, when needed, how to add a new item to a menu dropdown, despite multiple searches in the help file!

Re: Forgot how to add new item to menu dropdown
Never mind - I found my original request asking how to do that. Just had a completely different topic name. For anyone interested, it's here, with LeviFiction's answer:
viewtopic.php?f=56&t=62995&p=351782&hil ... em#p351782
The reason I find it so non-intuitive is that I am not trying to create a new menu. I am wanting to create a new item/category within the existing Effects dropdown menu. Maybe it's just me....?

Re: Forgot how to add new item to menu dropdown
Thanks for asking about this. I learned a lot by experimenting. I've got to hand it to you devs, you've really made this thing customizable.
Had PS3, PSP3; Installed: PSP-4.12, 5.03, 6.02, 7.04 (liked it a lot & used it for years), 8.00, XI, x4.3.0.3, x6.2.0.20, x7.4.0.11, x8.3.0.13, x9.2.0.7; now using PSPx10 (PSP 2018; version 20.2.0.1 x64) on Win 10-64 b2004.
