Using Edit Selection Run Into Invisible Wall
Using PSP 2019, paintbrush, editing a selection, shading in the orange, I sometimes run into an invisible wall that won't let me shade beyond it. Sometimes it is a vertical wall, sometimes a horizontal wall at the top. I end up having to quit and start over. Has anyone else experienced this and what can be done to eliminate it? I am using a Huion tablet, but it happens with the touch pad as well.

Re: Using Edit Selection Run Into Invisible Wall
So a few questions for you:
1) If you turn off the edit selection, accepting what you've already colored, and then turn the editing back on does it let you get beyond that point? Or does that point persist between edits? Does it make a difference if you add a blank layer before editing the piece? Or is closing the program and restarting it the only way to resolve the issue?
2) What tool are you using to edit the selection? The paintbrush or the eraser brush?
3) Was the Huion tablet unplugged when you tried the touchpad?
4) How big are these images? Do they vary a lot? Do you see this on larger images more often than smaller ones?
5) What tool did you use to make the original selection?

Re: Using Edit Selection Run Into Invisible Wall
1. Ok, I feel a little foolish now, after turning off and then turning back on edit selection the problem went away. This is my first time using this function and I didn't think of that. Always used one of the selection tools before.
2. I am using the paintbrush, but I had tried the eraser brush with the same results as the paintbrush.
3. Yes the tablet was unplugged when I tried the touchpad.
4. Images were about 4 MB.
5. Original selection was made with the paintbrush using the touchpad, although the tablet was plugged in. After painting with a large brush I switched to the tablet using a smaller brush to finish out the edges.
