Scorefitter Add to Timeline greyed out

Post by workshopessentials »

Hi, I'm new to VS but have used Adobe in the past.
If I try to add music from the Scorefitter library, I have to add it to the timeline before I can see the various options.
So I have added Bebop Jazzfest to the timeline, at which point the Options appear. It has automatically selected the top version, Mood Swing. How to I change it to Transit on the N Train? I can select that option and play it to listen to it, but it does not change the existing clip in the timeline and the Add To Timeline button is greyed out.
It's driving me nuts, so any help would be very much appreciated.

Are you sure you are talking about ScoreFitter music, because it would appear that you are trying to add Auto Music to the timeline.
The only way Auto Music can be added is by first selecting "Auto Music" (icon under preview screen) then selecting a "Category" then "Song" then finally the 'Version" only when the "version" is selected will the "Add to Timeline" icon become active
Edit,
Just noticed that you can open the Options Panel for ScoreFitter, however, I don't think that should happen and is therefore a bug, there is no option to play the selected song or add to Timeline, would need others to confirm this.Once a track has been added to the timeline, changing its attributes should not be possible, those features only being available for Auto Music
Edit
The Options Panel is NOT available in VSX10 for ScoreFitter, confirms that it is a bug in VS2018, another to add to the list

Fantastic, thank you!
Doing it your way works. Doing it my way doesn't, but, as you say, I, too, think that that should not happen. But I am now a happy bunny. Thank you very much.
