I have just upgraded from X10 to 2018 ultimate , and when trying to open the voiceover I get the message CANNOT OPEN THE WAVE IN DEVICE .But of I open another project from my list of projects the box opens ok .
Any help would be appreciated .

when Project Properties Audio is set to use Surround Sound voice over does not work.

Many thanks for your speedy reply .
I have found the Project Properties box {under settings }but cannot find any Audio to change , however when I click the Audio Mixer it does show SURROUND SOUND But again I cannot see how to change it .
I am sorry to a pain in the----- but would be grateful for further help

Wow got it , Many thanks again I have struggled for the last few weeks to sort this , as some other of my projects would open the voiceover no problem ,so I could not understand why the other would not .
