:D Hello!
New guy with some of the new guy questions.
1/ my pc has 160gb h/d. I was recomended to get a 2nd internal h/d to make the loading of dv tape easier. I am not interested in cinema epics just documented where I go and what I see. Does the program for editing also go on this 2nd h/d ? Once edited down (get rid of footage due to not turning off camera) and burned to a dvd can it be dumped so long as I do not want to re-edit the presentation? How big a h/d and low a price would you recomend.
2/ I want to be able to make slide presentations for dvd to share on t.v with friends and my pc comes with sonic my recorder 6 so can I get by with the cheaper mMovie Factory 4 ?
3/ If I choose DVD MF4 Creator will I be able to burn dvd's from windows photo story 3 or windows movie maker 2?
Any constructive/instructive feedback will be most appreciated,
BiLL :
What should I do ?

Both programs are good.
You mention editing a few times.
Look at VideoStudio 9. Great for editing dv material and creating dvd's. Has a DVD creation and burning module built into it.
I would start with a minimum size of a harddrive of 120gigs. Formatted as NTFS file system.

A free harddisk would be nice.
