I am working in CVSX10 on a MP4 video clip that requires a curved line (10pt) with an arrowhead to show flow in part of a process; the beginning of the line starts at a (idle source) object in the clip and the line/arrow needs to "grow" in a curve towards a target object in the same clip -indicating direction of the process.
I tried a few different approaches; import a (CDR generated) transparent png (=complete curved line with 1 arrow at 1 end) then in CVS use this as overlay object with its starting XY size set to "0" at the source object and by using several keypoints, slowly let the png "grow" towards the target object and/or using a "clock" filter. Also tried to "draw" an arch in Painting Creator, then overlay this in the clip. This does give me the desired "growing towards the target object" but the hand-drawn curve is too messy. None of these options allows me to create the desired animation/effect that I am looking for...
After reviewing several Corel and Discovery tutorials I have not figured out how to do this, for example with with a custom motion path with several keypoints?
Does anybody have a solution/instruction for how to do this in CVS?
Many thanks for some assistance!

A screenshot can help here.
Do you need an Arrow to follow a set path?
Give us that path.

Thank you Asik1 for your reply.
A screen shots from the original animation and that I am trying to replace with a new, different designed arrow/curved arrow. These screenshot show the beginning of the line at the top the chimney of the factory and the end of the existing arrow/line towards the target object. The black dropshadow f this (white) line I hope to add after I figured out how to add the arrow/line...
I dont have a path and it will be great if I can create/import a/that path somehow easy in CVS myself so that I can re-use the same technique for the other arrows.
Thank you for looking into this request.

Re: Animate a curve (line) with arrowhead in CVS
been playing around a bit Casman and produced this :-- https://youtu.be/QJf2nljOHEU
not exactly straightforward - first I created the curved arrow on a transparent background outside of Videostudio and imported it to VS put it in an overlay track and then use 'Customise Motion' to rotate it . Then I found that I needed to add a cropped clip over the bottom to hide the 'tail' of the arrow to make it look as though it was just appearing and not rotating - so my timeline for that clip ended up looking like the image below - didn't exactly align that 100% so you can see it in my clip - but a bit more work would cure that - maybe give you some ideas on how to do what you want

Thanks Brian for the time and effort to upload your idea. Will give it a try.
