If you decide to start over, all is not lost from this project - you can save each of the title resources that you created which should save you a lot of time.
1. Load your project.
2. Click the Title library icon.
3. Click the Gallery drop arrow and select My Favorites.
4. From the timeline pane, click on the first title, hold and drag up to the My Favorites Title pane, then drop.
5. Repeat for all remaining tiles in your project.
Now you can reuse the titles in a new project.

Re: 10Min project now 60Min+SlowMo (30fps, 200fps issue)? [V
Thank you guys for your time. Glad that you could replicate the problem.
I guess, I might contact Corel support with a link to this thread - they should check and fix this issue in an update..?
@gweb
Your project properties are set to use 25 fps (Pal) whilst the Gopro video uses 29.97 fps (NTSC)--I think, is that correct?
From lata:
The change of the property settings was made out of desperation, because I had problems with P&Z, where the P&Z motion from multiple clips in the project was going totally the wrong way at the beginning of each P&Z scene in the rendered file...

I did not use the proper project properties at first - was not aware if this potential "quality issue" - now I amYour project properties are set to use 25 fps (Pal) whilst the Gopro video uses 29.97 fps (NTSC)--I think, is that correct?
That has the effect where the project removes the frames to allow 29.97 to fit to 25, effectively removing 5 frames per second. Clearly that will be noticeable especially on faster moving videos.
Then adding Speed Timelapse again is achieved by adding or removing frames., increasing the speed will remove frames and eventually show as a stutter.
[...]
Changing the project frame rate, I assume in an attempt to improve playback quality.

Hi
Yes it would be best if you contacted Corel Support, then you should be kept upto date with any progress.
However I have already sent our Corel contacts details of the problem, decided to do that when I was able to replicate using the library samples.
I tested X10 but that version does not give 200fps options, so it does appear to be 2018 only.
As for you using 200fps, I totally understand why you should try that although it will not make any difference to the playback. What should happen, frames are added to the clip, whilst the timeline is increased to 200fps, effectively the clip remains at the same length, at least it should do.
For pal clips
10 second clip on a 25fps timeline has 250 frames
10 second clip on a 200 fps timeline has 2000 frames,
Mixing Pal and NTSC
10 second clip on 25fps timeline has 250 frames
10 second ntsc at 30fps has 300 frames, yet only 250 available on timeline, 5 frames / second are dropped.
Mixing Ntsc and Pal
10 second clip on ntsc timeline has 300 frames
Add a 25 fps clip, duration has to be 10 seconds, 5 frames / sec are added to give clip 300 frames
Those 5 frames are duplicates 1 in 5 frames
You can see this effect if you nudge through the frames hitting “F”, every 5th frame is duplicated.
If the videos are static then the effect stutter may not show, but faster moving or panning will be noticeable as a stutter.

I duplicated your test case and got the same results.lata wrote:I have been able to replicate this unusual behaviour using one of the library samples
How
1 / insert SP-V01 to timeline, yes to messages to match settings. ( Project at 7 seconds)
2 / add fade to black at end of clip, default set to 2 seconds. ( project at 7 seconds)
3 / Apply Speed and Timelapse at 200% ( project duration 3 sec 012 f, that appears normal.
4 / edit project settings to use Mobile 1280 x 720 x 200p ( for NTSC 240P) ( project ok)
5 / Save project, giving it a name.
6 / close Video Studio
7 / Run Video Studio and open VSP saved above
Result
Project duration changed from 3 seconds to 23.014 seconds.
Repeatable
I then reversed steps 2 & 3 (first the timelapse and then the fade) and there was no change in duration.

just tried that and i get the same problem.
I then tried with Video only, when i opened the project the digital click far right, shows the project duration.
That showed at 35 seconds, then reverted to 3, very odd. clip then inserted to timeline as ok?
I have passed this issue onto Corel who have replicated the problem which has been escalated to the developers.
