Display Heading and Caption IPTC Data

Post by eja »

Does anybody know if it's possible to display heading and caption data in the meta browser in ASP3? I have imported images into the catalog and then added heading and caption info, however, I can not get it to display in the meta browser. Tech support has been zero help. I began addressing Tech support on 26 July 2018. They have been unable to clarify or fix the issue. It's almost like they don't know anything about the program they are providing tech support on.

I also tried to see if the mac version is also behaving the same way. It is doing the same thing.

Thanks for any assistance.

See "Managing metadata sets" in the User Guide (https://www.aftershotpro.com/en/product ... /#learning)
You ca add an own set or change an existing one. In the existing set "Basic IPTC" you see Heading and Caption.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Thanks for the reply. I know how to accomplish this, however, I can not get that info to display while in the left panel using the library tab. The metabrowser does not display headline and caption. However, I can see it in the right panel under the metadata tab.

ok - I did not understand - I never needed that feature - I don't think that its possible.
I use ASP as a raw converter and for editing - I don't use it as a browser for the developed pictures (.jpgs)

Thank you for the help anyway. I'm content to conclude it is impossible. Corel tech support can't even answer a straight forward question if this function is possible or not. Very frustrating.

Yes there is no real support - thats frustrating. I know. On facebook they post two year old reviews ...
But I still work with ASP and like it better than other picture editing programs and raw-converters.
In bibble times there was much more support and also much more activity here in the (bibble) forum too.
Many developers that provided (mostly) free and fine plugins ...
