Organizer pop-up question

Post by rhindle »

I have looked and looked and can't find an answer to this.

When I use Organizer in Edit view, hovering over an image makes a pop-up appear with information. This is not typically the information I want. Older versions of PSP would show things like file size and dimensions. That's the kind of thing I want to see, not ISO or shutter speed (especially on images that aren't photos in the first place). Is there any way to switch this to the information I actually want?

Thanks.

That feature was dropped in PSP X4. Again like the change in the Save v Save As , the Devastating Crop tool , this was another new feature added by Corel or one of the strange programmers with no idea what people require.
The ISO and other camera data may be OK for photographs but for graphics and processed images that are no longer photographs it is damned useless.
Again something to be placed on the wishlist for one of the next versions of PSP - perhaps in 5 or 6 years time .
This image shows the changes in PSP 8, X2, X3 and 2018 - can you spot the improvements???

The peak in usefulness occurred in PSP X2 / X3 in my opinion and the usefulness of basic functions dropped since then in favor of bells and whistles.
