Error/Bug "3d Title Editor is Running" [VS2018U]

Happened on Win 8.1.

In VS it shows the message as on the picture. Can't do anything. By clicking on mouse, the program makes this "ding" sound (as it's locked). Too bad, since it seems program itself did not crash. The "title effects" are still moving.

However: Since the program is "locked", I can't save!
Could I have saved somehow?

Have you looked down in the Task Bar at the bottom of screen. In mine I see a light blue icon with 3D in it, and when I click on that, the 3D Title Editor appears over the top of VS to allow you to edit the title. Then you close it to get back to VS by either clicking its OK button or the X in the top right right corner. If you open Task Manager, you will also be able to close it there.

I assume, you are right. I did kill the VS process and after reopening, I did realize that there was a "3d Title Editor" in the task bar...
I did not look there before, because I did not intentionally open this editor... Must have been by mistake.

Easy to do as you move your mouse a lot over the icons above the timeline. The T3D one is second last in that line of icons and you possibly jogged it as the mouse passed over it.

3D Title Editor is running. Please close to continue editing.

This feature is not working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, fixed the ulead file, checked task manager, etc. I was successfully able to use it 2 days ago - and yesterday it stopped working. I upgraded to Ultimate - that did nothing. I have followed the boards and done all the recommendations. I have called tech support - I am dead in the water and need this to work.

The 3D title editor can be in view of minimised to the task bar.
Corel should alter this feature to be always on top, there is no advantage that I can see to minimise the editor.

On your task bar at the bottom of the desktop should show a blue icon with 3D, it should be the right hand icon.
If you can see that, clicking it should open the 3D Title editor, now you can continue editing the titles or close the application.
Right clicking the 3D icon will also give the option to close.

I am having the same issue. It worked after a re-installed for about a day then quit. It shows up in the taskbar for a second or two then goes away with the same message about it already running. Even when it did work that message would appear briefly and then the editor would appear. Editor does not appear at all now. This was one reason I upgraded so it's be nice if it actually worked. Please help.
