choppy playback with only 2 videos

sorry my english is limited, im french.
im with X10 version.
is there a way to make the video playback run ok in edit mode?
its really hard to syncronize video and audio when we can't see clearly the videos.
smart proxy isnt active. i think ill try it.
my projet propriety is blu-ray 1920X1080, dunno if there is something to do with that.
and all acceleration performance and optimisation are on.
i dont see any other options...
any idea? tx

ok i actived proxy, didnt know i had to click on each videos and do it manually but yeah it help a lot... other tricks? ty

You don’t have to do it manually, you can activate the smart proxy, when you add the vídeos to the timeline VS will create the proxy file, or in the library you can select all the videos, second button click and then there is an option to create the smart proxy file (I don’t remember the exact words, I’m not in front of it)
