How to overlay a live wave form on a video

Here's a interesting one that I can;t figure out how to do in VS. I'd like overlay on a video a live wave form of the audio of that particular video track.

I don't understand what you are trying to do.

What do you mean by "a live wave form"? Why do you want to add a duplicate of the audio track?

I don't think he wants to duplicate anything. He wants to overlay a video clip showing the wave form of the audio over the main video. At least, that's how I understood it. How he would get a video of the wave form is the part I don't know about...

Simply, screen record that audio when played in media player or other that can visualize it over black.
