Frames and Tube organization help

Post by kjs_07 »

Hello,

First time poster. Have used many versions of PSP since Jasc days, but my last version was X4. I now have Ultimate 2018. Can anyone recommend an intermediate or advanced guide or tutorial about how to manage frames and tubes beyond the basics?

I find myself wanting these in better categories, and I know I can make subfolders for that for what I have collected over the years, but keeping file names straight and avoiding duplicates with what comes in Ultimate 2018 and the Creative Content pack is making my eyes spin a bit.

For example, I know Corel puts its frames in the "Corel_09" folder in ProgramData directory. I just wish they had names rather than numbers to compare to my older content. My current frame categories list is rather sad (read: not useful).
-All
-Frames
-Mats
-PSP 12 Ultimate Content
-Photo Edges
-Picture Frames
-Time Machine

If I fiddle with the location or titles of the "Corel_09" files to create subfolders will this mess things up?
Ditto this for Picture Tubes. I hope I have made sense. :)

Thank you in advance, Kimberley
