Different computer give different results

Hi I just completed a little video editing project using VSX10, and i decided to test both my computers, 1 being a laptop, the other a Desktop. Iam confused to why both had a different size finished file. The project was 22 minutes long, but the size of my desktop results was 2.82GB, My laptop results was 3.04GB. Why?
Here are the settings i used

Did you use EXACTLY the same settings on each computer - not just frame size but bit rate - your image shows 20000 - is that consistent across computers

Yes EVERYTHING THE SAME.

What are the exact duration (mm:ss) and data rates (Kbps) of the two rendered files?

Hi newfielander

Can you run another test.
From PC 1 create a smart package of the project
Open the smart package on PC 1 to render the project.
Please choose Same as Project Settings

Now move the Smart Package to PC 2 and repeat the render again using Same as Project Settings
