Same for me and it's getting really, really annoying. I even, just in case, spent ages re-installing windows just in case before coming here to find that it's a Service pack issue introduced by Corel.
I'm really confident that I'll eventually get so annoyed that I'll move to Resolve.

We do not need to delete thr proxy files
We can then enable proxy files to continue editing if we wish to do that
