Inserted image appears pixelated

Post by Leebah »

Using the free trial of Video Studio to see if it will work for my needs. I'm inserting an image I created. When I click on the clip the image looks beautiful with nice clean lines. When I view the whole movie the image appears rough and almost pixelated. I made the image in Adobe illustrator and have exported it in every format I can think of with highest quality settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

In order to give a sensible answer, we'd need to know the Properties of the video you included the photo in (especially format, frame size and bitrate), as well as the Properties of the photo itself. Generally, photos need to be at least the same frame size as the video they are going into. So for a 1920 x 1080 HD video, the photo should be close to the same frame size or better.

Thanks, Ken. Knowing I need to aim for 1920 x 1080 is a great starting point for me to work from. I appreciate you taking the time to reply!
