A .CR2 file is one of the types in the "Open File" dialog, but the CR2 files do not load.
This is VERY disappointing. I bought ASP to process raw.
Am I doing something wrong or is Corel ignoring the most common current Canon Raw format ?
Does ASP handle Canon raw ??? No ?

Yes it does - no problem.Have used it without problems for several different Canon camera's. You may have to download the proper driver to your camera.

Please tell me where you got the drivers. Corel says no processing of CR2 or Adobe DNG or png files.mikmak wrote:Yes it does - no problem.Have used it without problems for several different Canon camera's. You may have to download the proper driver to your camera.

The last (png) is laughable given the common use of PORTABLE NETWORK GRAPHICS !
Portable to everyone but Corel ASP, I guess.
Thanks for any info on drivers

ASP 3 should be OK but not the earlier versions for newish Canons. Open AS and look at the right hand tab you should see GET MORE. Open the tab and look in there. AS 2 wont read my 80D files so I had to get AS3

Canon tech support agreed with me and issued a refund (promptly). I thank them.
I loaded plugins for the M5 and the M6 under "Get More", both of which output Canon Raw version2 (CR2) files. I also loaded a camera which output Adobe DNG files.
I still was unable to read any of them.
