How can we delete some redo steps?
Extensively editing a *.pspimage file can accumulate a lot of restore points and cause long time-out periods, such as when changing tools. I know I can set the number of undo points, but that option is a bit late for my current project. I'm wondering if there is a way to delete some early restore points to make the file on which I am currently working more manageable. Having a fast system with 24 GB of RAM does not help. Any suggestions?

The History Palette
Open the History palette
Select any undone item from the list of commands. Hit the "Clear selectively undone commands" this will make it impossible to redo the command.
Or
Close PSP and reopen. You lose both Undos and Redos.
EDIT: Sorry quick edit. I forgot, you can only delete selectively undone steps after other commands have been executed. So, technically you can't delete redo points only undo points. You have to perform some non-destructive edit or change that can be recorded such as duplicating the layer or resizing without actually changing any sizes. Then undo steps can be deleted that were previously undone and never redone.
