Unable to adjust total video duration
I created a video in X10 by copying another VSP project file. I edited the new VSP file and it is shorter that the original one copied (it is also in a different folder). The total time for the new video is 00:02:24. However, the new video's total duration time (on the little "digital clock") is 00:05:00:24 so when creating the MP$ video I have 2:36 of black screen. Even going through the Settings > Project Properties is has the time of 00:05:00:24. There is noting on the tracks after the last clip and audio at 00:02:24 - I just can't do anything to eliminate the unused black 2-//12+ minutes ending area in the video.

Re: Unable to adjust total video duration
Hi
are you sure there is nothing on the timelines beyond the last clip.
there was another poster with a similar problem, there we found an image one frame in duration so very difficult to see, in fact only showed as a thin blue line.
can you zip your project and attach to your post, maybe we can have a look?

Re: Unable to adjust total video duration
Scrub to the last frame you want (00:02:24) then CUT. That should default to selecting everything past the cut frame so press DELETE. You should be good to go.

Re: Unable to adjust total video duration
OK, thanks for your help. I've tried everything including these tips, even changing from the timeline view to the storybook view. You got me wondering though, the last clip I added was a closing clip from Video Studio, "Instant Project IP-18" - this is the one with a Caribbean isle view and music. I deleted it and re-added it. Somehow that messed up the ending and added the 2-1/2+ minutes. Works great now.
