I'm thinking of upgrading from X8 to 2018 Ultimate, but I only want to do it if the latter makes it easier to freeze frame and create a spotlight effect, so I can create highlights of my son's soccer games. Does anyone know how one would do this in 2018 Ultimate? Is there a special effect that would cover it?
Thanks.

I don't have X8 and I stick to X9,
You don't have that?
